(500) Days of Bummer.

What is it about Zooey Deschanel that's so attractive to the masses?  Is it her beauty, charm, quirkiness, music, or her similarity to Katy Perry (who is such a likable artist) in appearance? Possibly all of the above? I, however, do not find anything interesting about her. The characters she played from "(500) Days of Summer" and "Bones" did not appeal to me in the least.  In both roles she came across as unrelatable and too quirky for my taste.  I do suppose it's just a preference thing.  Many of my friends believe the very opposite of her.  They find her quirks unique and charming while I find her strange and mundane. What does it matter anyway? I only bring this up because of her new show coming out soon and I'm sick of people constantly raving about her. But to be fair, I think I'm going to give it a try and see the pilot. Besides all that nonsene, here's one of my favorite songs by the Plain White T's. Enjoy

Breathing Room.

The term "spring cleaning" seems a bit, well, seasonal don't you think?  To someone who gets those random urges to clean an entire room from top to bottom at no particular hour of the day, the term is a bit silly.  And it's not just confined to a room. Emptying my inbox, deleting people on Facebook I know but don't even like much less talk to, getting rid of hundreds of pointless pictures on my computer, songs on iTunes I don't listen to anymore (I'm talking to YOU Nickelback); basically getting that breathing room that I've been lacking for a while. Room to fill those spaces with things that I'm going to eventually toss out later. Quite the cycle isn't it? And with each cycle I learn to be more careful with what I fill my life with. There is one thing I do differently from anyone else, however. See, I am one of the most cold-hearted people in the world. To cut anything out of my life whether it's a memory, a person, or a memory of a pe

Pathetic Attempts.

I LOVE it when I see people making obvious attempts at mocking other people without realizing how ridiculous and foolish it is.  Don't get me wrong, I've more than likely done something similar in the past, but thinking about doing that now seems so....dumb. What's the point? Really? What message are these people trying to get across? "Hahaha look at how weird you are, let me show you by doing the same thing!" Now THAT is hilarious. It's like someone who hasn't had a single drink make fun of how belligerent a drunk is by drinking as much as that person. Okay, maybe that was a bit extreme but do you see what I mean? It's foolish and pointless to pull off juvenile stuff like that.  It makes no sense! I mean, of all the things you could be doing, why waste time doing that? Truly, high school behavior lives on forever in these people's lives. It's sad and frankly, I pity them. Goodness gravy, now I'M wasting my time talking abou
