Currently reading: "Ms. Perigrine's Home for Peculiar Children" by Ransom Riggs
Yup. The author's name is indeed Ransom Riggs.
I recently saw this book on the "Staff Recommendations" shelf in Barnes and Noble and decided to give it a try. It is quite an interesting read so far. It's basically about a young man whose grandfather has regaled him with mysterious and eerie stories for years of his past on an island where peculiar children reside in an orphanage run by a Ms Perigrine. From what I have already read, the plot almost immediately picks up speed with the discovery of evidence that his grandfather's stories may not be make-believe after all.
Just looking at the cover creeps me out.
Anyway, it's good so far, and I'm eager to find out what happens! I have heard mixed reviews about this book, but hopefully I'll still be able to enjoy the book as it is without too much bias. Hopefully.
I guess that's it for now. In less than 7 hours, I have to help open the store. Yayyyyyy -_________-
Till next time.
