Things I Make.

Doctor Who in space wacey made by Sharai Bravo

I need to start painting again. I don't think I've done anything since Christmas! A lot of people have been asking me to make Doctor Who stuff lately and it's actually helped me a lot! Well, in terms of making the Tardis. I think that's the hardest part for me; besides painting people.

Painting is has always been therapeutic for me. I find that when I just let my hands go and my imagination run free, I come up with something truly special and unique. No two paintings are the same even though people have asked me to duplicate it. I think it makes it even better. I feel less like a machine and more like an artist.

The only downside to making things in general is that I'm the type of person who wants to begin and finish the project in one day. I take so long with even the most simple things and I usually just end up frustrated and drained. The reason why I like completely everything in one day is because I don't like losing that burst of creativity. I feel as if the moment I lose that burst; that push to make something great, I'll never get it back. It's not always the case; there are some exceptions.  But I'd rather not have to muster up that burst again. Just like my paintings are never the same, so are those feelings. Creativity goes in so many directions and no two paths are exactly alike.

For me, it's a love/hate relationship, but it's something I'm willing to work on to keep.
