Relentless.

My boyfriend and I had a fight recently. It was a silly fight, but in all of the bickering, he told me something that made my blood boil. His mom STILL interrogates him every day about the whole "Vanessa and Alex" thing and about the only thing on her mind other than their stupid baby; his debt.

I wonder if she reads my blog. I hope so.

Because then she really wouldn't have an excuse for this ridiculous behavior. She's caused him never want to be home or around them at all. If she's reading this, she may now think that I'm the one who's making him think and feel this way.

If I was a cold-hearted she-demon, that might be true. However, I'm not. She may try to argue that, but at the end of the day, I'm not the one who's pushing Zack away and causing him to hate her.

From what he told me, she's the reason why he gets home so late and sleeps in late the next day. He wants to avoid her at all costs, because even if the truth was tattooed on her face, she would not believe it.

Especially when it comes to that arrogant, selfish, attention seeking, holier-than-thou, bully.

Especially when it comes to the thousands of dollars that he owes her.

No matter what either of us say, she'll continue to see us as the "couple that screwed up way too much." We're more sinful in her eyes than stupid Alex and Vanessa. And that's freaking hilarious because I was under the impression that ALL sin is equal.

Back to the real issues here.

Their $200,000 in debt versus Zack's $8,000.

Now what surprises me is that his mom honestly believes Zack's situation is worse than his brother's. It's so hilarious because, she put him in this situation! His brother got to spend the same credit card money not too long ago. It was just as often as Zack, yet he NEVER had to pay her back a single dime. Seriously, how is that fair?

"I want to teach him a lesson."

"He needs to learn how to budget money."

"I shouldn't have given him a credit card."

"I funded your relationship."

All of her excuses for constantly nagging him are only making things much worse. How can he pay her back, and save money for himself at the same time so that he doesn't have to use her credit card? She thinks that it's a fool proof idea, but all she's doing is keeping him in this vicious circle of constantly owing her.

There will be no lesson learned except for, "I am never trusting my mom again." And that will be on the day he leaves and never comes back. We never want to see them again. The judgement and ill treatment has become too much and we are done dealing with it.

She will never understand. I don't think she really wants to. She's doomed to see Vanessa as this perfect angel while she sees me as "something that doesn't belong." Because Zack has and always be less important to her than Alex. It will never change.
