Oh, Henry. I'm not trying to sound "indie" or come across as a true fan, but when I say that I've always been a Henry Cavill fan, I really mean it. About seven to eight years ago, I bought a movie called, "The Count of Monte Cristo." Some of the actors are Jim Caviezel, Guy Pearce, Richard Harris, and Henry Cavill. When I first watched this movie, I immediately developed a small crush on Henry's character, Albert. He didn't have a lot of screen time but from the few moments I, as the audience, got to see of him, I couldn't help but swoon. The picture above is Henry in "The Count of Monte Cristo." He really looked so young back then. And now, he has become one of the most iconic characters of all time: Superman. It goes without saying that that role is a burden. There are so many expectations and so much pressure thrust upon your shoulders when you don the cape and the famous "S." I watched "Man of Steel...

In between filming the Avengers and Avengers 2, Joss Whedon somehow managed to find time to film this black and white gem based on Shakespeare's famous play "Much Ado About Nothing." After watching the trailer, I have to say I'm really excited about this movie! It's got a lot of the actors from Joss Whedon's past tv shows like Nathan Fillion, Reed Diamond, and Amy Acker. Definitely a must see for the summer!

I want to begin by saying how much I love Guillermo Del Toro's movies. Probably my all time favorite is "Pan's Labyrinth." His storytelling; the way he makes you feel not only fear but also wonder is an ability few directors/screenwriters possess. Without spoiling anything in the movie in case you care to watch it in your spare time in the middle of the night, I will say that the story is both like and unlike anything you may have seen or read before. Great pacing; talented cast; and of course innovative and imaginative writing. A great movie overall and one that I highly recommend.
