LOVED THE MOVIE. That's the problem with books turned into movies. Watching the movie first tends to permanently imprint in your mind what those characters look like and how the story progressed. It's difficult to read the book after. Your mind is not blank and your imagination is limited to what you watched in the movie. If you read the book first, you may not enjoy the movie as much because it does not match what you originally pictured in your mind. However, I am focused in keeping my mind blank as I'm reading "Howl's Moving Castle." Diana Wynne Jones has always been one of my favorite writers since I was in 4th grade.  The first book I read by her was "A Tale of Time City."  Seriously, get your hands on this book when you can because it is a thrilling story from the perspective of a trio of clever teenagers caught in the middle of the destruction of their world. In "Howl's Moving Castle," the story revolves...

Get Over It Vampire-Crazies

I loved "Twilight." When it was still a book in the beginning of an unfinished series, I loved it. I would daydream about Edward and Jacob all time; especially about Carlisle ;D A good friend of mine had told me about the book so many times, but I didn't believe her until I read it for myself. My irritation worsened when the movie opened. Books really should not be made into movies. Just saying. I know my opinion does not matter much, nor am I purposefully trying to piss any of you off; I am merely trying to explain something. Anyway,up till now, I didn't have a problem with understanding ...

Better Than I Thought...Check this book out

Simply put, "Shiver" by Maggie Stiefvater is a good read. Some of the grammar was a bit weird for me to understand (maybe I'm losing my mind) but I must say, it was worth the money. The ending was a curveball for me, and if anyone wants a good book to just relax with, this isn't such a bad choice. I'll admit, I did skip over alot of the details as they seemed too much sometimes, but the dialogue really held me till the end. I was actually quite worried since the storyline didn't seem to escalate in the normal way I predicted it would. It was like waiting for the sudden burst of light at the end of the tunnel for the longest time until waiting turned into boredom. Then, just when you don't expect it, the light appears and it's quite a surprise!!! I was kind of disappointed in that I didn't feel as connected to the characters till the end, and it seemed as if Maggie Stiefvater was better suited to poetry rather than fiction. The few verses ri...
