A New Kind of Wicked

Alright, so I've been typing about myself for the last few days, and that's just plain selfish of me. Even though...this is MY blog.

Well anyway, I just wanted to vent a little bit about some things that have been going on in the Bravo household. Prepare for the ultimate soap opera!!!!!!!!!!!!

See, my uncle and his wife (we'll call them Frank and Mary) came from the Philippines to stay with us until they were able to become US citizens. It's been 9 months since then, and HOLY HOT CHEETOS was it awful.

Let me give you a little more background about the situation. See, Frank married young and had a son. Unfortunately his wife divorced him and moved here to the States. 32 years later, he marries again. This time, it's a 26 year old named Mary. DO THE MATH HERE PEOPLE!! Frank's pushing 60 at this point. Even his son is older!!! But Mary has no clue about guys, so she follows what her friend Trixie says and just goes along with the wedding. It's been a few years since their marriage and during that time, Mary almost destroyed our family.

See, there was a house in the projects that my mom, and 3 of her siblings had bought in memory of my grandfather. They signed ownership over to Frank so that he could live in it and take care of it. But when Mary moved in, she suddenly started saying things like, "This house is way too old. It's so dirty and ugly. Let's live somewhere else."

So without telling any of his sibling, Frank SOLD the house to please his wife. With the money, he bought her a new townhouse with brand new furniture. The furniture was so large that it made the entire place so compact. However, Frank couldn't afford the luxury anymore and was forced to sell again. But this time, they moved to a small apartment where the lights short out on a daily basis and there's no air conditioning.

It then dawned upon Mary that Frank no longer had any money left to get her all the things she wanted. She realized that she needed to find someone better who was rich and could provide the moolah to pay for her frenzie.

Back here in the present, Mary and Frank have drifted apart. Mary went to Dallas to stay with Trixie who was rich and even had a rich boyfriend. She stayed for months without even trying to get a job to help pay for the immigration expenses. Instead, Frank and my mom had to come up with the cash for it all. And then suddenly, Mary wanted to come back to LA. When she came back, she brought 2 more luggages of things Trixie had bought for her. She then wanted to go to New York. But changed her mind a THIRD time.

So now, she's working for my mom's classmate from med school. She's talking behind everyone's back. Saying awful things about my mom, about her job, about where she has to stay, and about how little money she has to pay for the pairs of shoes she wants from DSW. She uses our water to bathe twice a day. She never attempts to talk to any of us. She doesn't like the sun because she doesn't want to look dark and ugly like me. She's telling everyone else around her that she wants to divorce Frank. She doesn't even acknowledge my grandma at all, even if they're in the same room. She thinks we NEVER have food, which, if you've been to my humble abode, you would KNOW that we ALWAYS have food. She doesn't even know how to cook!!! I've even had to cook for her and Frank!! UGH, I tell you!

She hasn't even touched my DOG!! And Lucky's the cutest thing next to marshmallow chicks!!!!!!!! It's like we all have a disease and she's the victim who has to live with us.

That's what she thinks of herself as: the victim in this story. AHHHHHH, I'm so mad right now. I'll finish this later since I need some sleep. Stick around for part 2!!!!
